Damn. I wish I'd know about the Argos sale - guess I'll have to keep checking E-Bay. Are there none left anywhere at any Argos? Tripitakatoys also had him at a special price .. check them as well, but do be wary of their postage prices .. good luck

Tripitaka are out, as are Ellis Models and Epic Heroes, the only UK online transformer stores I could find. There is a place that may have it still, but it's £49.99 - I'll probably go for that if I don't see one on E-Bay in the next few days.

funkyzilla.com have the Takara version on sale for £39.95 reduced from £80 . I'm not sure if this version has the electronic sounds/lights though.

Chiswick High Road - Woolworths
They've got a full 3 of each of Demolisher, Downshift and Towline. They also have 1 Signal flare, 1 Omega S, 1 Tidal Wave, and 3 million treadbolts.
I didn't pick any up as they don't appeal to me, but I'm likely to go past again tomorrow so I could probably be persuaded to pick some up and send them on at cost, especially if you can do the same for Arcee if you've got one spare (open or not).
I'll need to know by 8AM Sunday though.
Wave 3 Basics seem to have bypassed this Woolworths completely, which is why I'm still looking for Arcee.
Interestingly, one of the cosells on Towline is Mirage - hope we get him soon, looks pretty sweet,.

Thanks - though I guess you need to be fast around here as it's gone from there. In the end though, I checked out a black Unicron in the stores and decided to stick with my Armada one. Mainly because while the cartoon Unicron looks cool - orange shoulders, bright yellow chest-plate and all, Energon Unicron looks quite dull by comparison. I think I'll save my cash for when Super Galvatron - www.bigbadtoystore.com/toystan.asp?Queryid=en117 I've already got the smaller Japanese sized Megatron. Though anyone would like a Galvatron in that size might like to look at the above link, since they have Superlink Galvatron G for about £23.95. I'm guessing the Super-Sized Galvatron will hit the UK mid-year. On another vaguely related note, could anyone here suggest which of the many American stores (or UK stores that import US transformers) that post to the UK is, based on price? Thanks.

I've been impressed with Casefresh.com 's performance. I've ordered a few things from them and been happy with the service. Action-HQ are hit and miss at times, you also should really insure anything you buy from them. BBTS are good, but almost every time I've ordered from them, I've been hit by customs. There's also a few good sellers on E-Bay, just do a search on E-Bay UK for dealers that will ship to the UK. Personally I think Energon Galvatron is a better coloured figure than Super Link's Galvatron G. Phill...

Crap. Just beaten to the first sighting again Also got Bulkhead from TRU today. I was going to skip him and wait for Quickstrike, but the excitment of seeing something new on the shelves took over Woolworths in Norwich now have Downshift and loads of Demolishers, but rather annoyingly (as he was the only one I needed) no Tow-Line. Took me a hour to walk up there as well

Strangely, my local ToysRUs didn't have any Demolishers, but ToyMaster did.. so I've picked up an excellent looking Demolisher to keep me going till Energon Super Galvatron hits here. I think things might pick up when the final few episodes of the cartoon are shown.

Just Bulkhead. Which is okay, as we only need Ultra repaints now, and we might as well skip them to get new stuff on the shelves as quickly as possible.

Toys R Us Altrincham had a dismal display, on Sunday 13th Feb.
Hardly anything - some £1.99 Laserbeaks near the front of the store, some Treadbolts/Ironhides plonked on a shelf and some Energon Megatrons. They also had 5/6 of the Energon Defensor Micromasters. I would have bought the 6 of them, if it wasn't for the fact that 1 (First Aid) was missing, and I'm sick of hunting for one thing to complete a set.
Then again, the Altrincham store sucks... I used to work there.
