Good luck with the event Raymond!
Just to let you all know though that even though we've been quiet for a while, Auto Assembly 2008 is ON and we have been saying this to those of you who have been asking us for the last few months.
Sven and I DESPERATELY needed a break this year for personal and health reasons but we've pretty much sorted the venue out and we should be announcing the date in the next couple of days. We've narrowed it down to 3 dates and we're just waiting for confirmation on which one the Clarendon Suites is free! Yup, we're back at the same place as AA2005 and AA2006!
Anyway, it's going to be July or August next year so feel free to spread the word guys and keep an eye on the boards and AA website... we're going to start getting VERY vocal...!!

ahh but if I was to attend I'd be inquiring about a dealer stand so would need to get my stock there hence why driving is an attractive notion so if I can get a couple of lackeys........ err I mean helpers up for it then I'll see what can be arranged Well, you are of course welcome to set up shop at our next convention. I didn't deal with the tables, but if my memory serves me we asked 50 euro per table at the last convention. Which isn't nearly as much as some other sci-fi conventions and others of the sorts are asking these days. 50 euros is pretty good if my calculations are anything to go by better than the £600 they wanted for sw celebrations.......

I would have to pass I think. These house things are bloody expensive. I thought I had answered this one already... Oh well... Our entrance fee last time was just 12 euro. We are thinking of perhaps raising the price a little bit, since we are thinking about pulling a few more tricks out of the head, but don't expect the price to go up by too much. We're not talking the price ranges of the likes of the US BotCon. I raised the questions here, because I can imagine that UK fans might want to stay overnight if they do want to be part of the Transformation Convention. If there are enough people saying that they want to be part of this, and are planning on spending the night in the Netherlands, maybe there is something we can help with booking rooms somewhere to further help to repress your costs.

Good to hear from you! I've been meaning to contact you for a long time, but never really got around to it... I more or less have stolen some of your guests away from you in the past for the Night In Amsterdam meet and greets. Two years ago with Neil Kaplan and last year with David Kaye. Hope you don't mind... ;D Anyways,... If AA08 is back on track again for next year, maybe we can find some way to work together! It's difficult enough pulling something like this off in a small little country like the Netherlands as it is. Of course I would need to communicate with the other guys, but if you are willing, I certainly would love to extend our hand towards your convention! It'd be a blast! Let me know!

50 euros is pretty good if my calculations are anything to go by better than the £600 they wanted for sw celebrations....... Unlike most, we're not in it for the profit. We're in it to give fellow fans a good time and have fun ourselves while doing it. So we may not be big budget compared to other conventions, but we try to have the most fun! I am not the one in charge over the budget. But we are trying to expand compared to last time. It might mean that next time the prices per table maybe somewhat higher than 50 euro if we want to break even. But we certainly don't intend to go into the triple digit figures. I'll have to talk with the others before I can say more about it.
