I popped into Orbital today to acquire a nice BT Smokescreen - they inform me that on Friday they're getting a massive truckload of new stock, including all the BTs up to Grimlock, and the G1 reissues up to Blitzwing.
Oh, and some Armada, or Energon or something (sorry, I don't care about that stuff so I stopped listening then).

Tonight on Brum-watch:
Nostalgia and Comics have RM Beast Convoy and Starscream restocks, as well as the yellow motorcycle and and, as far as I could tell, pretty much all of the first wave, minus convoy and Beast Megatron. Not a bad selection at all.

This surprised me - some US imports in the budget store today.
"Quality Save" in Sale Town Centre (Manchester-ish) have Universe Micromaster Constructicons - all 6. Picked up a set. 99p each. I wasn't going to get the Micromasters originally, but for that price I couldn't pass it up. They also had both Battle in a Box sets... £5.99 each. Not bad for two Deluxe-sized figures.
Anyone who lives in the Sale area - you should go catch a bargain!

Forbidden Planet London amazed me today - not only did they have 3 Alternators (not BT) Sideswipes (and a smokescreen), but they were priced at only £14.99!

Indeed, FP Brum had two Sideswipes and two Smokescreens for £15 in today.
It's so unlike them. Imported toys for a reasonable price? Crazy.

They probably picked them up from one of the bargin warhouses (like the recent Universe stuff) for a couple of quid...

What languages were on the sideswipe box? Is it a US Import? A Canadian Import, an Italian Import or an actual UK release?

Sorry, didn't stop to check - I just assumed it was a US import, since that's where they get most of their Hasbro TFs. They still have an Armada Megatron priced at >£30, because it was imported.

Ah okay. Just they have a Hasbro UK license now and the last batch of Alts they bought it were the UK ones. Will have to have a trip to a forbiddon planet then. Shame there isn't one nearer to here lol.
