What's the strangest Transformers item (merchandise, toy, anything) that you own from the G1 / G2 era?
We have a few stickers from the UK comics - the Transformers Live Here one (such a cool thing). Most of our "Transformers tack" is from later series, Japanese Beast Wars and Beast Wars II mainly.
We do have an item "on the way" which we think is "uber-cool", but I'm keeping that under-wraps for the moment.

UK G2 comic issue 2, it wasn't a reprint of US stuff so it is dodgy Brit stuff - art, story, plot (If you can call it that) O.o

UK G2 comic issue 2, it wasn't a reprint of US stuff so it is dodgy Brit stuff - art, story, plot (If you can call it that) O.o Uh, the British stuff was generally far, faaaar superior to any of the US strips. And technically G2 was an American print first that was written and sometimes drawn by Brits, continued on from when Brit Transformers comics guys like Simon Furman and Geoff Senior went to the US to do the last couple of stories of the US comics and show just how much better the British produced comics were and what utter garbage the US strips tended to be (one US artist kept drawing Starscream's head with only one side piece for example based on the reference pic he copied from where Starscreams head is partially hidden by the bits sticking up either side of his head and neck...) oh yeah... and Sideswipe underpants were the weirdest TF related item I ever had. Three pairs of underpants with different color trims, and the same pic of the boxart Sideswipe image. |

An knitting pattern for a kids sweater with Optimus Prime on it. When I was 10 my mum knitted it for me I actually have a P7 class photo somewhere of me with it on.  |

Actually the first two issues of the UK G2 comic weren't US reprints, but were instead a new story by Simon Furman. This was because Fleetway(?) didn't have the right to reprint the GIJoe stories where G2 began in the US and the US G2 comics started heavily in continuity with the G1 ones. As a result they didn't want to start half way through the story. It's not Simon's best work and doesn't even match up to the US reprints from the later issues all that well. Back on topic - I still have the Tracks sticker from a pair of G1 slippers that are long gone.  |

Yeah Trek it right, there is "hard to find" UK exclusive G2 comics.
Sideswipe underpants - lol
We have a 5ft G1 "poster game" given away from the comics.
We also had some "story posters", there were 6 in a set, they told a short story in images with no words. I think we have have 1 of them somewhere.

I have a puffy starscream sticker somewhere also have some still sealed G1 exercise and pencil sets kicking around somewhere |

The strangest item i have is a G1 megatron bubble gum dispenser, it,s still mint as i have never used it because i was warned the head can snap off.

mine is an original 1985 book called insecticon attack.
made by marvel books, with a sub title off big looker story book.
cost 99p . the only original tf item from my youth.
on the back, it says , titles in this series

I got a couple of sets of the puffy G1 stickers. Apart from that all i've really got left is my letter and envelopes stationary set. Sadly the Ravage rubber is long gone but I got nice Skywarp envelopes.
