I didn't buy the whole 'maybe Barricade is Prowl in deep cover which is why he didn't actually hurt anybody' suggestion. But Animated's new 'ninja Prowl' is a much more intriguing prospect than boring old strategist police car prowl. He can fill Jazz's shoes and more, so I wouldn't mind if he appeared.
I think it's important for the second movie that the collateral damage is huge, so that Prime feels great guilt that causes him to want to leave earth again. I think that needs either huge armies of decepticons laying waste around the world, or a giant transformer like trypticon (an aircraft carrier?) or (the real) devastator. After all, the first movie showed that while the transformers, and decepticons in particular, are powerful, the majority of them, everyone but starscream and megatron probably, could be defeated by a fully equipped human army with tanks and jets. It was only the element of surprise and the small size of the humans squad that handicapped the human soldiers and even then they did pretty well.

wow good ideas. I would think they would keep it on earth. maybe Unicron? What the heck, kill Prime in part 2 and say Rise to Hot Rod They'll most likely keep it on Earth for the second one and probably in the third one. I don't think they'll raise Megatron again... Like killing Prime, raising Megatron (Galvatron) has been done before and like Starscream's Ghost said, it wouldn't have the same effect as it did the animated one. I started thinking about how many Decepticon's are left alive and I realized you never ACTUALLY see Scorponok or Barricade killed like you did Blackout, Frenzy etc... So I'm pretty sure they'll be brought back in the sequel.
