UK Release Date?

You can find the latest official release dates on our convention page. As you can see, the UK is now last since many European dates were bought forward. In the interview that announced those being bought forward the UK was not mentioned as one of the main international territories. It was hoped that the date would have changed, but so far it remains the same, 27th July

Its strange how other sites are only now talking about the international release dates even though most of them have been known for months. I'm not convinced that the Australian one will change though as its currently being reported. I find it quiet funny how a lot of people are reacting in the US that they will not get it first, they seem to have forgotten that they won't get it till after 10 other countries and only four others will get it after them, the UK being last.

The US always seem to throw hissy fits if they don't get stuff first. Not only that but they seem to throw fits when they have to share world wide release dates too.

Getting films everyone else 99% of the time isn't enough I guess.

I don't mind if it's released worldwide, I never even paid attention to the fact that it got delayed in certain areas because of our hissy fits.. tell you the truth I've never had a hissy fit when it comes to movie release dates period... now spilling a beer will cause a hissy fit.

I find it strange that the release date is still 27th July, surely they don't want to be upstaged by The Simpsons Movie or do they?

Paramount confirmed to me yesterday that the UK release date is still 27-07-07, though they seem to think the rest of Europe is close, which doesn't match with the press releases we have, so I've queried it with them giving them the details and they are looking into it

I hope they do decide to change the release date but we shall see.

It looks like they've changed the release date to 29th June now, that means that we'll be the second country to get the movie after South Korea which is exallent news.

That could still be a mistake, as, if its true, when I spoke to Paramount UK last week they still said July 27th though they hoped to get a copy in to the UK in June, but that would probably be for special previews or something

I hope its the June one, else most of my internet usage is gonna be difficult for most of July...

The official site still says June 29th. Would be nice to have a solid answer to this, Some of us need to plan a meet

I'd like an answer to this as well and I'm sure you know by now my reason for wanting it to be the June date as mentioned in earlier posts
