Should this be combine with
this original thread do you think?
I noted lots of continuity errors when I saw it the second and third time (Bumblebee's door open, then closed), clocks not changing, etc. Have a read of these ...
Missing SceneConfirmed from the Second Life Press Conference.
There is an extra 35 minutes of footage that was cut from the film. Although Bay stated that there was no scenes cut, the cast confirmed that an "alternative ending" was filmed where Sam and Mikaela go back to school, has an altercation with Trent DeMarco (the jock) and then end up sharing a kissing scene with a 360 degree filming spin to a to a Michael Bay orange sunset.
Alternative ScenesThis information is from the earlier test screenings which took place America.
Originally Starscream flew off just after Megatron was defeated doing a "sonic boom" as he left the city and flew off into space. This scene was edited and re-placed in the credits with him just flying off
Bloopers1) During first scene with Sam and Mikaela when Bumblebee breaks down. As Mikaela decides to leave Sam and Bumblebee the passenger door is slightly open, in the next shot the door is firmly shut.
2) When Bumblebee transforms for the first time, going his BatMan signal, his gun-arm is the left arm. During the rest of the film, and on the toys and all images, it's his right-arm which is the Gun-arm
3) Airforce Base - When Blackout approaches it's light. During this time Lennox is on the video phone for just over 16 minutes. When Blackout lands it's night, and once he transforms it's even later.
4) Sam / Mikaela first scene - After the blooper with the door, Sam gives Mikaela a ride home. He states she lives 10 miles from the park where they were. It's light when he and Miles turn up and when Sam and Mikaela leave. When they arrive at Mikaela's house it's night. I guess Bumblebee must break down a few more times
5) Bumblebee / Barricade chase scene. When the scene starts it's light, yet by the time Bumblebee hides from Barricade it's dark.
6) Doughnuts Scene. Whilst Maggie and Glen are waiting to be interrogated the clock at the back room says 9:50. Once Glen finishes the doughnuts the time is still 9:50. I guess the government can't afford new batteries
7) Mission City Scene. When Lenox gives Epps the Radioshack walkie-talkies a woman in the background is on her mobile phone. I though their was a complete satellite blackout and no phones worked. She must have been on a different network to the Secretary of Defense.
OdditiesBrawl being called Devastator. I don't think this is a mistake by Paramount, but more a change made by Hasbro. Possibly due to Trademark reasons. Also, as confirmed in the Second Life press conference, work began on the toys BEFORE the script was finished, so many of the vehicles were picked quickly. Hasbro told the producers that they needed to start making the toys quickly in China and so need to know what vehicles were required.
