I'm not sure what its like in the rest of the UK, but in Edinburgh, and at home its absolutely scorching.
But I'm working, like a fool.
At least I've got the next Public holiday off.

High 20s in North London - very sunny. So I'm sat inside sorting through my clothes and dyeing my sofa covers. What fun. I have a beer though, so not all bad.

bit wet in the west midlands , but we had a schorcher on saturday. still it is warmer than lateley. Whilst over in the East Midlands we have glorious sunshine, with highs of around 20 or possibly 21 degrees Celsius. Overnight we will see temperatures remain slightly above the average for this time of year at 9 or 10 degrees, with a gentle westerly breeze. The rest of the week will continue with good sunshine and similar temperatures. Dare I say it? It looks like summer has arrived early, and is here to stay. That concludes today's weather forecast, brought to you by our sponsors TF@TM, - who bring sunshine into our lives on many a rainy day. ;D

Hot yesterday here in the south and hot again today. And the idiots at work still have the heating on full blast, it's like working in a bloody sauna!

No one here knows what the meaning of the word "scorching" means until they have lived in Spain during the summer, or in New York or Australia.

No one here knows what the meaning of the word "scorching" means until they have lived in Spain during the summer, or in New York or Australia. Google. Define: Scorching * hot and dry enough to burn or parch a surface; "scorching heat" * capable of causing burns; "it was scorching hot" P.S. - Galvy, that tech spec thing in your side sig is screwed up and is making your posts spread right across the page (both internet explorer and firefox, work and home pc for me)

I won't get into the "scorching" debate but I can confirm that in west London it's too bloody hot and bright for my liking. It's all very nice I'm sure if you're sat on a beach somewhere but if you have to work, it sucks.

Here in my part of Manchester (Chavland), it's typical Manchester sunny weather, i.e. bright with white cloud and irritating humidity offset by a breeze. Perfect for drying washing
