Hiya all, I've just been having a PM discussion with another board member (deathshead) about ehobby TF's and its raised some questions that i'd like to ask here: Are there specific numbers for the ehobby reissues? (and if so - what are they!) Is there a list somewhere of all of the ehobby reissues & repaints ?? (I've googled in the past to no avail!) I suppose the question should also be asked as to whether these answers are also knownwith respect to the other limited number reissues (Tiger tracks / black rodimus / green ratchet etc) Any input appreciated - I'd just like to understand the toys I collect better! Thanks

Ok, this is by no means perfect and I can say nothing for the numbers but there are at least these out there: (I think I'm right with the seekers, but not 100% sure)
Normal versions: Inferno (Toy show exclusive) Grapple (Toy show exclusive) Sideswipe (Toy show exclusive) Red Alert (Toy show exclusive) Hoist (Toy show exclusive) Trailbreaker (Toy show exclusive) Sideswipe (New years special) Red Alert (New years special) Optimus Prime (Various versions - some with action master) Bluestreak Starscream Thundercracker (Toy show exclusive) Skywarp (Toy show exclusive) Ramjet (Toy show exclusive) Thrust (Toy show exclusive) Dirge (Toy show exclusive)
Repaints: Clampdown (White Police Red Alert, New Years special) Deepcover (Black Sideswipe, New Years special) Tigertracks (Yellow Sideswipe) Chrome Silverstreak Gold Jazz Road Rage (Red Tracks) Crosscut (Grey Skids) Detrius (Beige Hound) Astrotrain (Dark colours, New years special) Minibots (Various minibots repaints) Magnificus (Black perceptor) Cobalt and Sentry (Blue Rumble and Lazerbeak) Hauler (Green Grapple) Sunstorm (Yellow seeker) Twincast (Blue Blaster) Galvatron (Cartoon colours - I think) Megaplex (Megatron with blue inside legs) Orion Pax (Red / White Kup with wheelie) Ghost starscream (Clear Starscream) Black starscream (Black starscream) Clear/Red Hotrod (Transparent red Hotrod) Black Hotrod (Black Hotrod) Overcharge (Green and White Blitzwing)
Ultra Magnus (RID Scourge repaint/ G2) Protect Ironhide (Black Ironhide) Emergency Ratchet (Green Ratchet) Shining Magnus (Yellow Ultra Magnus) Blue Magnus (Blue Ultra Magnus) Kiss Players Cassettes (3 bright coloured Cassettes)
Have fun finding!

Couple of small corrections. Tigertrack was a mail away exclusive, not an E-Hobby figure. (Diaclone) Movie Preview Ultra Magnus was available exclusively at Toy Festival 2001 in Japan, limited to 1500 pieces Ultra Magnus Matrix Glow version was available exclusively at 20th Century Toy Museum toy show at the Mitsukoshi Department Store in Yokohama Kanagwa, limited to 800 pieces. You can find a list of the E-Hobby figures on this page; transformers.wikia.com/wiki/E-HobbyAccording to that page Black and Transparent Rodimus were not E-Hobby figures either.

Fair enough then - The main thing I missed was the insecticons...
Seems I have all the e-hobby releases then, with the exception of Laser Magnus and the 2 recent repaints.

Yeah, the Rodimus' were convention figures from what I recall.
Limited numbers, about 300,000 I think, though the original ones were less. We had a list of some of the original numbers. Actually I may try to ask them as well

I wonder how many people in the uk collect all the e hobby specials and open them?
Most of mine are still MISB. They just cost a little too much to open! (Having said that, my entire BT line and alt variants collection is still MISB)

Hi all I've found something which 'appears' to answer our ehobby questions, an inventory with limited numbers etc: megatronofcybertron.homestead.com/japanesereissues.htmlStill I find it strange how some Tfs such as tigertrack turn up often on ebay whereas black tracks, well once in a blue moon? And just what are the production run nmbers on astrotrain and those evil minibits? Whatever the case, they'yre fantastic Wraithchild666 - thanks for posting

Did you just get the Minibots Phill?
I opened them when they arrived, just like clampdown, deepcover, tigertracks and megaplex (I got those 4 at the same time from the same seller - thats what started me off on the ehobby route)
I dont think I've opened any since then.

I missed out on the moonies green and black ratchet which went on ebay - A certain board member who I think won had a lucky escape - I would have bid much more if my computer didnt crash when it did! Oh well, I still have memories of E hobby astrotrain from them for about £30... Think thats worth a little more now.

As you said I was lucky (and happy) to get them for the price I did.

What do you think of green ratchet - he has to be the worst looking ehobby so far to me... even worse than hauler

What do you think of green ratchet - he has to be the worst looking ehobby so far to me... even worse than hauler I've not actually opened any of the G1 Ratchet's or Ironhide's I got. The colour scheme doesn't really make sense in terms of the G1 figures, but I can see it being a figure that's overlooked and the demand will suddenly go up.
