Changing work, that drastically from what you did, does effect your routine - I can totally agree and see where you're coming from. Though I stayed in the same type of job, my move has thrown my timings all out of wack.
I leave later, though I work further away, as I used to get in at 8:10and do 50 mins extra in the morning, check the website etc etc. I'd go home at lunch every day and manage to do some bits for the site at work.
I could then leave anytime from 5:30 to 5:55 and still get home for 6:00.
I found it really odd not leaving till 8:40, so I now leave at 8:15 and get into work at 8:30 as I don't know what to do in the mornings. If I think about it I'll look for news at home before going in, as I don't have access to the site as much as I did at my last place. Lunch is all over the place, mainly eat at work (which I hate, as I end up not eating it all or spreading it too long, and just getting on with work) or missing lunch all together. I've tried to shoot home still, as I can do it in 10-15 mins.
There are no clocks or calenders, so I'm always lost on the time and days.
