I tried to buy Tankor today (the only one left) however the manager refused to sell as it isn't in the current argos book.
The git.
The price was £9999.99 the till assistant laughed she even got it down for a customer view and i guess would have sold it if it wasn't for the evil manager.
Never mind i can wait till Saturday as she reserved it for me.
They had the new argos books hidden away and she told me that they get into serious trouble if they look at them or show them to a customer before saturday.
I think argos needs a reality check.

What makes me smile though is we are all running around like headless chickens trying to get there guys a couple of days before launch! And if we wait, you just know that they will be in some kind of sale before the year is out! Has anyone opened the ones they have? Is it really worth this effort? And, yes, I am probably one of the worst. Heck, I can get them from the States for half the price but I want them now!

I couldn't wait. I got them from the States (BBTS) for half the price, though shipping put them back to full price, obv.
I think I need a reality check.

I'm in Blackpool at the moment, and tried to get them, but the Manager gave me third degree, asking where I got numbers from, etc. I'll just wait till Sat now, can't be arsed going through that again.

My answer is simple.I enjoy Tfs.Its a investment in a way. Blah. Youve done alot with your life.....Im sure.........But the key thing youve done that I know of is.....survive.Its a tough world...........Im going to shut up now.

[glow=red,2,300]It now seems Argos have cottoned on to this early release thing.
Argos in Bristol have a warning on thre computer screens "not to sale until Saturday"
Dam them all to hell.

I've got to admit I'm glad I got mine from Hasbro before they appeared in the catalogue or I would be down there tonight trying to get them to sell them early to me! LOL

I've managed to find the deluxes and voyagers in a couple of small Essex toy shops so for those who can't wait or get to an Argos it might be worth checking out smaller retailers

Popped into Argos extra in Sheffield on the way home on Tuesday and they had prowl, tankor and sunstreaker on a shelf but would not sell them to me, all stock checkers said £9999.99. went in today and managed to walk out with prowl £12.99 its starting to get expensive :-( prowl is cool though. get paid tomorrow so might walk out with the other 2 then.
