Best RPG Comedy Character: Baywatch by L7 [glow=blue,2,000]Ooops! So, is it Baywatch by Steve or Buckshot by L7? ;D Too lazy to go and check. EDIT: Ok, I checked and I lost!!! Aaargh! Cike, 6 awards....not bad. *Steps up to the mic with his awards and in a Tux.* Thank you very much to one and all, its just an honor to be mentioned and nominated. I've always have looked to this RPG board as one of the best on the net and its a honor to be apart of it. Now its a shock that Buckshot tied with Siphon, I guess in the 2 RPGs with those characters in them within the last 6 months, were the RPGs taken in to consideration when voting, however I don't feel Buckshot is quite the charcater Siphon is, based on all that has happened with both characters and there historys and so forth. Well frickin heck I don't what I'm saying I'm just trying to be humble! As far as I'm concerned Buckshot could have come in second place to Siphon. But its still an honor to have a characters make such an impact who talks as bad as Lion7. *Bows to the crowd as they cheer*[/glow] |

Thanks dude but like DB said Siphons whole history and stuff intimidates people aparently. Dont matter to me though. I'm happy to share the award like with last year and Swinger. I was quite suprised to see so many votes for Steel and Whitefox to be honist. I mean like I said they were the esiest to wright simply because it is actualy me and the missus so it felt natural. Probubly why they came off so well. Was cool about Shatnertron as well. Although some credit should go to Steve as he gave me the insperation even though he didn't mean it. Also he handeld him well when ever he wrote him. As for the end of Heroes 2 well I'm glad you guys liked it. I tried to instill how futile it would be for civys to try and fight super soldiers... which is why half you died  Oh and that Best GM was clearly fixed |

Mmm4 awards, well its an improvement on last time Nice to see Rainstorm appreciated as the definitive bad guy. I play him full time on Hoists board so get a lot of practice IC for him when i use him as a villain in my own RPGs. Also I have to give some credit to Steel for the Siphon relationship as it really helps Rainy stand out as a character. The whole thing really came about by accident but has worked tremendously well and can only get better as we use the characters more and more. Best GM, what can IO say. The votes dont lie! Best RPG, Hunt2. Im glad it was so well recieved, as ive said before as soon as it started with the bicvkering dialogue that was top notch i knew it was going to be special. Everyone put in 100% into their characters and i tried to put in 100% into the story (dropping the ball with squirtle but hey...) and ultimately it all paid off. The opening section with the rainy mystery was ace and went better thasn i could have hoped for. Id tried to plan a murder mystery but its tough with active characters out of your control so i had to make last minute changes all the time but it worked for the best. Im glad this one best RPg moment as it was great for me as Gm too. Congrats to everyone else on their achivements. |

Still, Steel is right, it hasn't come as naturally to play these different characters. I felt after doing Blowhole in Minion's Beast Evolution (who I REALLY enjoyed even if no-one else did) and then playing Swinger again in Decaying Orbit (who is obviously a character dear to my heart) that it was really hard to think of something new for Snowdrift and I floundered badly in Heroes 2, even though the story was good.
That's why I went back to using Wraith in The Hunt 2. I agree, the level of hostilty against him right from the start was immense and made for some great character moments.
Finally, thanks to all the peeps that voted for my RPG and my characters. I was incredibly nervous trying to do Decaying Orbit but I was pleased at how it turned out and am glad you all enjoyed it.

heh I make that 3-time "Most versatile player" now  Must be all the femmebots I play I'd like to thank everyone who voted for me, but most of all I'd like to thank Minion and Steel for both not running any RPGs in the award timeframe ;D Seriously, I had a real good time GMing Decaying Orbit 2 and it was cos you guys kept me on my toes with your crazy antics. Glad to see my portrayal of Unicron was accepted as it's always hard playing a "real" character, and also that Sorrow was voted , as she was a character I came to really like over the 6 weeks of playing her. I will return as GM to do another one sometime. It just might not be Decaying Orbit 3. Thanks again  |

Well done DB, some well deserved awards there. Nice for me and Steel to bow out and see what happens when everyone else getsa chnace to strep up toe plate. Good to see that with a few exceptions the results have been good.

[glow=blue,2,000]Wow, Origin tied with Decaying 2.... I heard such good things about Decaying 2 and wish I had the time at the time. I suppose I'm surprized cause I've grown to dislike Origin.... personal issues I guess....
And now the Cyberbots, thats mad cool cause this RPG is loaded with comedy characters and I've make my mark with one. Going to have to bring them back most definitely now.[/glow]
