So i've laid my eyes on these G1 classic toys, re-imaginings of the original toys, which look pretty sweet. Now i s'pose this is more of a commemorative line than a cannon line like say Energon/Cybertron i guess.
So someone educate me then, who's available to buy? i've seen Bumblebee/Cliffjumper and Prime/Megs twinpacks plus individuals as well as Hot Rod, Starscream and Ramjet but who else is available? who's cool to buy and looks as good or even dare i say better than their G1 counterparts?

I favor the line over the Movie line due to all the repaints that are up and coming. All I need are the Botcon 1s and Im golden. I feel that Astrotrain is the weakest of the whole line.

those seeker jets look soooooooo good i think i know where my bank account is going now, into THE RED ZONE! *cue spooky eerie music* ok enough of that! i've seen a few of the BotCon ones on ebay and they have looked most interesting and definetly worth picking up but where is this line going? is it just a reimagining mirroring that which started with Dreamwave? or just something to keep us old timers happy?

Ill go with the "Old timers happy". and i'm pretty sure they'll sell well, they look damn damn good but remember a much wiser person said and i quote . . . . It's not for you it's for the kids. If they wanted to make a cartoon show aimed at your demographic...then the ratings would be low they would cancel and no more TF's at all. [/quote] but hey what the hell do i know? ps its my brand of humor and not a personal dig or a flame!

But where is this line going? is it just a reimagining mirroring that which started with Dreamwave? or just something to keep us old timers happy? Well the good news is that Classics 2.0 will be part of the new Universe line. Don't confuse this Universe line with the old one, its simply a subline where anything that doesn't fit in with the Animated line will go. Check out Aveo Swerve to see a hopefull glimpse of the new line. Also check out www.transformersclub.com/ to see the bot mode of the new Onslaught figure.

the important thing is that they look the part! they look like the Transformers we know and love!
I know that some peeps favour some lines more than others and each line has its fair share of "bricks" and uglies in it, but lets face it the Classic line looks the business, Robots In Disguise, More Than Meets The Eye. Isn't that what we want from this franchise? Yes gimmicks are good, combiners, companions, powerlinx and electronics but this lot look the biz. Not a single dyson, downs syndrome or space dildo from hell amongst them
i hope this line lasts and lasts

Each to their own but I don't rate Jetfire that much. He's ok but definitely not the best in my opinion. I really like the Prime mold but prefer the Magnus colours. I think Ramjet is my personal favourite.

Are the Prime and Megsy twin pack the same size as the ones sold individually?

Are the Prime and Megsy twin pack the same size as the ones sold individually? The twin pack are classed as Deluxe sized figures. They're OK, but not a patch on the Voyager sized ones.
