I'm not really a Beastie era fan. Most of the Vehicons are good, but about 80% of the Beast moulds just don't appeal to me.

Nope. I skipped BM entirely. Didn't even own a BM toy till last year, and that was a Cheetor given to me by Plasmabath. I believe Devil Soundwave still has it..
Anyway, I have no desire to own Primal. I have Geckobot/Buzzsaw, and a handful of repaints from RID/TFU, but no damn gorillas.

God no, I'd even be offended to get one as a gift too.... Tis a hideous lump, it's hard if not impossible to tell what it's meant to be in either mode. From a distance it looks like someone with too much time on their hands has been set loose with a bunch of black and blue marbles and some plasticine and up close it looks even worse. Yeesh, what were they thinking? Even it's robot mode head bares little resemblance to that of a robot, it's like some refugee from butt ugly martians.

Got my first BM toy at Transforce last weekend (Thanks T-4-E!) and it wasn't primal.
I'll get him eventually.

I don't know what made me buy it - it must have been cheap at the time... it certainly can't have been under the influence of alcohol as I stopped drinking years ago!!
Has to be the worst toy in my collection though - it even makes the McDonald's Happy Meal toys look good!
