We're running a short competition with Paramount Pictures, although I'd like to run it for longer, we want to ensure the winner gets to pick from all the days possible.
We're going to go and see the Transformers film in the IMAX (this will be my first time at an IMAX and 6th cinema showing of the film) but I'm looking forward to it. I'm not sure which day to go (it will be a weekend) or how much it is, but is anyone else planning on seeing the film on the Big Big Screen?

Hi!
I'm planning to go, but will be on a weekday as less people...hopefully. Maybe one of the later days.

Sorry, no can do this weekend but I don't think I could cough up to see the film again even if it has a few more scenes. Certain boxsets must be brought

It's been well known there is an extra 2 minutes. Nothing exciting though.

Saw this on Sunday with some friends of mine. Some had already seen it on normal screens before and some had not seen TF at all. It was hard to say, but it felt like it was dragging on abit in sections....possibly the 2mins of extra chit-chat was helping that. The frame rate seems a tad lower but the is a proper iMax full-screen presentation unlike 300. However, due to the close nature of the action, TF was near impossible to focus on. It was hard enough for most people on a normal screen but it requires eye-focusing skills of a hawk to follow it on the iMax screen.
We were about halfway back and in good seats as it really felt like you were immersed in the film....but it did make some of my mates a tad ill!!! I think the Starscream flight scene worked better than say the Bumblebee barricade/frenzy fight, which you couldn't make anything out on the iMax screening. Partly due to framerate and partly because of the screen size.
