Storage question - Do you add toys to boxed toys

We have a few Transformers which are stored in their boxes, quiet a few, as don't have the floor space for another cupboard, and we don't want them out normally due to dust.

To solve "space issues" we tend to add more toys into the boxes. For example, Movie Optimus Prime (Leader) also has Deluxe Bumblebee and all the Real-Gear. Movie Starscream has a few deluxes, as do Ironhide, Blackout and Ratchet.

We try to put the toys together - so all the Energon Deluxes are in mega / ultra Energon boxes (usually Autobots with Autobots, Decepticon's with Decepticons).

It makes it hard to remember who is where, but you get a nice suprise when you take a box out.

I forgot we bought Energon Slugslinger (at BotCon) due to this.

I wondered if anyone else did this?

Not yet.

I've got about 95% of my collection on display.

Once I start getting space issues I'll probably just revolve what I have on display every now and again.

I don't think I store any in a box. Very rarely keep the boxes due to lack of space.
