I've heard of Aspergers before, but Dyspraxia is a new one to me, but after having a quick read up on it, I know someone who'll probably suffer from it. My girlfriend's dad has just had a stroke, and it says that dyspraxia can be acquired as a result of a stroke.

I suffered from ADD, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia and Dyslexia. More so when I was younger as I wasn't really a typical case. Although they just thought I was clumsy and stupid when I was a kid.
My Dad stuck me in martial arts too see if it would help my coordination... but it just meant I used to get my ass kicked every week. Oddly it sort of righted itself when I was in my mid teens and my athleticism rocketed past everyone else my age. Probubly because I was trying so hard too keep up, that when my coordination finaly seemed to come together I was much more able than those who hadn't had too try as hard.
I'm not sure if I have true versions of all those disorders. When I was eventually diagnosed they said it was perhaps due too brain damage (probably where the Stroke thing Phill mentioned comes in) I've been Clinical dead several times. One time was over five minutes, which would explain the brain damage. I'm apparently in a medical journal some where. Something to do with an experimental technique. I never really found out what it was as my parents have both passed away and they always tried too keep it from me. They didn't want me knowing I was brain damaged.
