Just read about this story..as I am currently reading (for the first time) A TALE OF TWO CITIES by Charly Dickens..
Is this really a famous or rather infamous story still talked about today in England or did you guys hear more about it as kids?
Do some of you believe it to be true to this day?

I think I speak for all of us when I say we are all too busy keeping our castles in a good state of repair, and instructing our butlers to make tea.

wait..you each have your own castle??
I thought it was only one castle for the king with the large jaw and the queen with the fair face and you guys live either inside the castle walls or farming on its outskirts..
DS have you ever fallen in the moat?

[glow=red,2,300] Coo I haven't read Tale of Two Cities in about 20 years!
I wasn't familiar with the Cock-Lane Ghost, but being an Essex boy I'm quite familiar with Borley Rectory -
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Borley_Rectory
It's not their anymore - they demolished it! - but that's essentially the first real Paranormal Investigation.

[glow=red,2,300] Pretty much all of the London theatres are haunted. I've never seen anything at a theatre, but wifey says she saw stuff when she was working at the Haymarket.

[glow=red,2,300] Wifey suggests looking up the Theatre Royal on Drury Lane. They do a backstage tour and will break down all the ghosts for you.
As an aside note, whilst I have no recollection of ever having seen a ghost, I was attacked by some Fairies once. [/glow]
