I remember him being mentioend repeatedly and then shelved at the last minute.
I've had him for years, but would welcome a re-issue. He rocks!

Those are original protos IMO.
Modern ones tend to be made in a whole plethora of colours.
They are possibly coming back as a Club exclusive.

Those are original protos IMO. Modern ones tend to be made in a whole plethora of colours. They are possibly coming back as a Club exclusive. These are definitely not G1. He took those auctions down, and replaced them with one auction (this time with more parts I think) cgi.ebay.com/G1-Transformers-Prototype-Seacon-Seacons-Piranacon-rare_W0QQitemZ180166356801QQihZ008QQcategoryZ4696QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItemHe says that only Nautilator has a copyright date, (1987). This, along with the plastic used, would tie in nicely to my theory that they are transitional "first" shots for the Universe line. They would have modified all of the copyrights aside from Nautilator, who was not included in the original gift set - yet seemingly went on to make a first shot of the existing mould to see what it would look like. In short I think this is one of the first runs of the intended Universe release. Ras
