I've been mentioning that I'm waiting for a particular BW toy lately, as some of you may have seen, and it finally arrived yesterday. The original toy did the cartoon version no justice at all, so here's the customised version: A BW show accurate Blackarachnia! It's based on the version shown here, but with some refinements and improvements, such as a better scaled chest, gold rather than yellow details, a Predacon symbol, pointed missile, etc    |

Well, it's a vast improvement, to say the least. It still looks kinda weird around the chest, but under the circumstances I can't imagine anyone doing a better job.

Yeah, the chest isn't quite how I'd have liked it to be (or the legs, for that matter), but short of making all new parts for them, that's pretty much the best you can do with the original toy.

Excellent re-paint working on the original toy. Debatable whether this should be in the straxus smelting pool or not but we'll leave it here cause its cool.  |

small world aint it, I saw some pics of the piece (probably before it was posted to you) and it is very nice. In some respects better than the original custom. Thumbs up from me !
