Seeing as I wasn't really into the Beastie stuff, I'm here looking for answers to a few things.
1 - Which figures were avaliable in the Dinobots sub-group?
2 - How much do they tend to go for. I do know T-Wrecks isn't a deluxe sized one.
3 - What was their story within the Beast Wars story? I know they have Dinobot Sparks instead of Predacon, Maximal or Vehicon ones.
4 - What was the idea/story behind the Mutant Faces on the early Beast Wars figures?
Cheers to anyone who answers.

i can answer a couple
Which figures were avaliable in the Dinobots sub-group? er some moulds from the original beast wars which were dinobot and megatron. Then some from beast wars neo - er the weird bird one (that narrows it down) then the tricerotops and the stegosaurous. Also beast wars neo magmatron was in there 2. The idea of them was to give americans the chance to get japanese releases
How much do they tend to go for. I do know T-Wrecks isn't a deluxe sized one. not alot actually you can get t wrecks and magmatron for between £20-25 and all the deluxes (the others) for £8-15
What was their story within the Beast Wars story? I know they have Dinobot Sparks instead of Predacon, Maximal or Vehicon ones They didn't have one they were never in the ahow and were just as i said a means to release more and new toys to the american and european public
What was the idea/story behind the Mutant Faces on the early Beast Wars figures? I can't quite remember the answer to this , however i think it was something to do that when they went into battles thay would switch to their war masks and in this form is where they lost most of their energon - i believe this was scrapped for the show though
thanks

Actually they did in their Beast Machines techspecs. I cant remember it exactly but it was something like they were all based on BW Dinobots spark or DNA or something like that. Ill have to check on this for the exact details.

Function: Dinobot Commander Motto: "The quickest way of ending a war is to win it!"
As a strong defender of the Maximal cause, this attack specialist stationed in sector 17 of the Mirtonian constellation has returned to Cybertron. Reformatted into the charismatic Dinobot platoon commander, T-Wrecks, his fellow Maximals have bestowed him the nickname "Big Rex" as a testament to his pwerhouse prescence on the battlefield. Serrated steel jaws can snap most materials in two, acidic breath corrodes most alloys and dual hip-mounted launchers fire air-imploding projectiles.
From the tech-spec on T-Wrecks box. Doesn't give much away but there it is.

yeh i am imagine they have been given an artificial place in continuity like most toys but what i meant is that they were never on the shows or in any basic storyline

this is the main story "In a desperate attempt to combat Megatron's technoorganic virus on Cybertron, the Oracle supercomputer reformats a group of surviving Transformers, rendering them immune to the plague and extremely powerful. Using the DNA schematics of former Maximal Dinobot, each warrior emerges as a hybrid of savage prehistoric power and advanced Cybertronian robotics...the result, the fearsome Dinobots are born!" they r also in Wreakers comics www.botcon.com/story/index.htmli think there r only 8 they r: Airraptor, Dinotron, Striker, T-Wreaks, Magmatron, Rapticon, Triceradon and Terranotron i got Airraptor and Dinotron for only £2 each ;D and now i want the others lol well there r 10 because Magmatron is a combiner of Skysaur, Landsaur and Seasaur. and theres also these dinobots www.bwtf.com/dinobots/hope that helps

I've got the whole Dinobot's range although I've got a nasty feeling that I may have accidentally sold Airraptor at AA-04 by mistake. I did this with BW Nightglider last year by mistake......... Doh!! I'll have T-Wrecks, Terranotron & Magmatron available at Transforce. T-Wrecks & Terranotron will be cheap Cheers Jon

Given that I've got all of the stuff I really want I may put the Dinobots as next on my hit-list.
Not all of them though.
