Yea FPI only have a few branches in England. Bur FP and FPI have been working more closely lately.
I can't see them becoming 1 company again, but it has led to better business for both.

Still my favour TF comic series since the UK black and white ones - though I'd rather them not got involved with the others .. and poor Powerpinch :-(

Issue 3 was re-shipped this week to complete ALL orders,so even the smaller places should have got theirs.
I got one of the Retailer Incentive Covers for Issue 2 for free.

Finally got issue 3 last week but only 1 cover. Im still totally unimpressed with this situation and it has done little to improve IDW's appearance as a 'big' company. Hopefully this will be an isolated incident and never be repeated.
Good issue though, nice to see Scourge, still hoping we'll see Scarem. I also loved the Mutants cameo. I love those toys and think they're really under rated as a concept and idea.

Grimlock kind opf sucked sadly.
Lots of teeth breakingn in issue 4, Don went mental. Still very cool though.
I liked the timely arrival of the Maximals, was a cool moment. Nice set up for future stories.
Hopefully Magmatron will be back from wherever he was sent to...

Only skimmed though it at the moment but darn the art looks amazing. That centre splash page looked crazy.
I'll need some time too fully apreciate it.
This should totaly be an ongoing series. Its good we are getting a profiles book but I want more damnit!

I agree wtih IDW's statement that it would benefit from more mini series rather than an ongoing. In fact most comics these days I think work better in that format. There are precious few titles that have consistently good ongoings.
The art was indeed top notch but some of the colouring needed to be tightened up in places. On the whole I cant complain though.
The profiles are a long time in coming and i am obviously really looking forward to them!

Thats fine with me as I dont care how it comes, I just want more.

I can sorta see how the current IDW Beast Wars Series ties into the DW Summer Special one. Will be good to see where they go from here with it and the future mini-series.
Its been rumoured that not all of the Stasis Pods were awakened (so we may see other characters), and that Grimlock will be back.

Yeah Furman cant help himself where Grimlock is concerned. Its like you can spot a Bendis comic just by the sheer amount of cameos on the front cover.

Was he supposed to be some kind of albino t-rex rather than a Dinobot style raptor (ala the toy)? Just seemed weird and un-necessary. Id have preferred they not bothered and left him for a another mini series where he could do more if they were going to use him at all.
On the good news my comic store got more of issue 3 in and i picked up the missing 3 covers I needed.

you know i really want to see the Dinobots in this (The Beast Wars/Machines versions duh!) and perhaps maybe a lead into Beast Machines once they've run a few more stories with Beast Wars, perhaps like how Megatron took Cybertron so easily, perhaps with the help of the Angolmois energy?
