Justn some random observations really.
Im really into these 4 as I know SteveDave are too.
Hellscream is my personal facvourite and has some superb remoulding. Also DirgeGun is an awesome remake of the waspinator mold too!
I really like the fact they are reformatted from the jets (Thrust, Dirge, BB, Starscream) as well. It adds a nice sense of compl;eteness to their characters. Kind of like the BW War Within we keep talking about.

Those are the 4 Japanese figures from BW2, right? Extensive remolds of K-9, Waspinator, Dinobot and Cybershark?
What's the story behind them?

The four Destrons B.B, Starscream, Thrust and Drige (all planes) are reformatted by some force ( I forget its name off the top of my head) to those 4 new modes and retain some part of their former name. (Max-B, Hellscream, Thrsutor and Dirgegun respectively).

Why is it everyone links to TFU on our board I kinda find it funny really, it's not like our site is low on pictures, or hard to navigate now ... is it? Anyway these guys are really cool. All the "baddies" in BW2, apart from Galvatron, changed into different bodies. Hellscream can still fly, which is funny. We only have the first 12 episodes subtitled, and a few more in Japanese. The BW 2 toys were really good, especially BW2 Galvatron

The toys were the first designed for the Transmetal 2s but I beleive it was decided they looked too 'evil' so they went for the released TM2 versions. instead. Then they were used in BW Second.
Space-Bridge knows more on the story behind the toys

Yes these were originally going to be the TM2 toys, mainly because it would be cheaper for Mainframe to edit an existing character model than create a new one. The sucess of the toy line/TV show lead to a larger budget allowing all new molds.
If you look at the Cyberbeast Dinobots face its pretty much idential to the TM2 version.
Cheers
