I bought the US release of both seasons as a boxset.
Fantastic and provocative, thouroughly enjoyable as a direct follow-on to Beast Wars.

I got the Region 1 ones last year as well.
I had a Beastie Overload and watched all of Beast Wars and Beast machines back to back in a long weekend off.

I did the same... but only with BW season 3. There is such a thing as too much of a good thing BM is an excellent show. I'll be really interested to hear how the new DVD shapes up. The R1 release was fantastic.

Drunken 'I am Transformed' does lose out to the drunken 'That's just Prime' bit though! I like the BM character designs, it's just a shame the toys were not particularly show accurate in many cases. There is nothing wrong with (most of) the toys but having them not look much like what's on screen does suck the fun out of it a little.

it's been a while since i've watched BM but I thought the series was fantastic. Maybe even a tad better than BW, which was a very tough act to follow

Loving Jetstorm, such a cool voice with lots of personality to it.
Only thing im not keen on is how they transform, but liking the actual beast / robot forms.
Also enjoyed the prime statue in ep 3

There are loads of G1 nods in there, it's a real treat. The 'morphing' style transformations do take some getting used to I admit. After a while i'm sure you'll stop noticing them though.

Just finished watching both disks. Good series and not worth the critisisum usually leveled at it. STill not as good as Beast Wars though.
Immediatly ordered season 2 (which is out i9n November).
