Just took me about 45 minutes to transform Bumblebee back from robot into car. Which shouldn't be since the Classics transformations are pretty simple to remember and make a lot more sense than some Transformers (RID cars for a start). I knew basically what goes where but the head bit had me stuck. His lil head just wouldn't seem to fit back nto the back of the car like it should. Tried to force it in but worried it might break, tried to turn it sideways but his horns again got in the way. Just every time I pushed the black panel where the head attaches back the head just wouldn't fit. Got the instruction sheet out to try and figure out what I was doing wrong, it didn't help. Tried looking at the pics at members9.tsukaeru.net/ty1_toys/toys/CL_BUMBLEBEE.htm but still didn't help. Then while watching some commercial on tv that caught my eye, I somehow without realizing tilted his head back at the neck joint and then I looked down and it just suddenly made sense... so then I pushed the black panel bit back again and the head went backwards into the back of the car without any problem whatsoever. Something so damn simple had eluded me for so much time... Kicked myself quite hard. Ah well, I won't forget that again I reckon... but still I feel stupid for somehow missing that lil bit. I'm sure it's happened to me before with a G1 Transformer but can't quite remember which one and what it was that got me stuck.

Something I been wondering about Astrotrain too, why is the tail fin/chest shield able to rotate? Unless my eyes are messing with me, I can't see anywhere on the instructions where it shows it to be necessary.

[/glow] Is that the one that comes with a version of Scarlett? Cos the one that came with a Cobra Commander has two helmets. One regular and one as part of a Cobra disguise (codename 'Overkill'). Suppose that one would be more obvious that the helmet comes off as you get the choice of two Wouldn't mind either one myself. Starting to feel that urge to buy Joes come back. Not helpful right now. I've only just managed to finish Wave 1 Classics. Need to concentrate on paying my bills and to those people I already promised to buy things from. EDIT: just checked the boxed pictures and yeah on the Cobra Commander one Switchgears isn't wearing either helmet whereas on the Scarlett one his helmet is already on his head which I guess can be misleading.

Hmm, just playing a bit with Starscream and while some people complained about the gap in his chest in plane mode I just discovered my fingertip fits nicely in there and I can 'fly' him around on top of it. Is fun and better than holding it with multiple fingers at the back or something man, I feel like a lil kid again...

The tail must be roated around while in train mode or it will......get jacked, chipped etc.

Damn when I saw the name of this thread and HA was the last poster I thought he was calling himself and idiot.
Some Transformers are just tricky to transform.
