Hey guys, I've added a new article to the site about an original blue-eared G1 Cyclonus original pre-production release sample: www.tf-1.com/articles/eurous_frame.php?art=bluecycThe last article I did about pre-production G1 went down really well, so I'm trying to stick with the theme for now. Although this kind of thing can be hard to find... All the best Maz

Starscream has a blue-eared one that he got originally I recall. You don't see as many of them about these days do you

Just to clarify in case I caused any confusion, the article isn't saying that all blue eared Cycs are samples, just the one the article is focusing on All the best Maz

Hey guys, I have added Paul Vromen's great artwork to this article now both in the sidebar and uncropped at the end of the article. Also, I cleared up my own confusion about the landing gear variation as well. It's purely an early vs late Cyclonus issue, nothing exclusive to the prod. sample. www.tf-1.com/articles/eurous_frame.php?art=bluecycAll the best Maz

Fantastic article as always I have a blue-eared Cyclonus with five circles in the landing gear (one in the centre, four around the outside, all the same size/thickness) in contrast to the four on the sample in the article. Is that a variant do you know? Or do all production blue-eared versions have the five bumps? I had a look on Fred's Variant page but didn't see anything on the landing gears.
