The Classics look like the G2 comic characters?

is it me or do the classics look like they take on a slight likeness to the g2 transformers from the comic? i dug out the few issues I have and looked at hot rod and grimlock and thought they looked like the classic toys.

hot rod or rodimus looks much like hot rod in the comic. his face looks grin like the g2 art work and his gun has that over done blast coming from it. grimlock dino mode looks the same.

I see what you mean, especially with Ramjet and Rodimus/ Hot Rod. Grimlock I can also see (although to a lesser extent).
