so far i've got megatron, starscream, hotrod and bumblebee. I dont really have the money to get any of the larger figures so its out of grimlock, ramjet, mirage and astrotrain. Which is the best out of these? mirage looks the most poseable, grimlock....well its just grimlock, asrotain looks kinda cool and ramjet would just be another seeker for me and judging from starscream he lacks abit in posability.

Well if posabilities the main appeal for you then definitely Mirage as he's one of the most posable Transformer toys ever I reckon. Grimlock and Astrotrain are pretty fun if nowhere near as posable. Ramjet I haven't got yet. He's next on my list and then Cliffy and then a lottery win is needed so I can get those darn Botcon Classics...

Astrotrain is much more fun than people make out, I don't think you can go wrong with either astrotrain or grimlock. Mirage is the weakest new-mold deluxe IMHO. If he weren't so goofy looking I'd be a completist, but he ruined classics for me. jetfire is widely available right now, so much so that he may end getting heavily discounted before too long.

Personally I think Mirage is better than Grimlock and Astrotrain. Grimlocks one of my least favorite from the line with robot arms/dino legs that don't quite seem to stay in place in either mode and he just lacks the precense of the G1 figure, I would have preferred he had been done a Voyager so he looked like he could take on Megatron (or Prime if he so chooses). My Astrotrain's arms are too loose to hold up his gun and his color scheme also seems too bright when stood next to the other Decepticons. A more accurate cartoon scheme would have been better I feel. Mirage is a hell of lot of fun making poses with. Saw some pics of him performing some martial arts moves recently that I wish I had saved so I could have copied them with mine.
