Best Optimus Prime reissue to get???

I am hunting for a good Optimus prime reissue - the new classic deluxe one is ok... but it aint optimus as I know him!

I seen the takara collection reissue #0 but it was selling for £200.

I just recently got some of the Hasbro gen 1 reissues for Toys R Us (in the UK/Scotland/Glasgow) and the box shows a Optimus release... are these obtainable?

Any ideas folks...

hi,
well you can buy a hasbro reissue prime on ebay, those aren't as expensive as the takara reissues
but if i were you, i'd buy the THS 02 convoy, he really is a superb fig!
but if you really want the g1 prime that isn't too expensive, you should go for the hasbro reissue

IMO the best Prime reissue by far to get is the New Year Convoy, if you can find it. It will be a bit more expensive though.

Wait a little while longer, and he is being reissued again by TakaraTomy, which will be the long smoke-stack version and more like the one you remember as a kid.

I have to agree with Phill the new year reissue is the best to get and always wanted one but its hard to get now and i keep missing out on ebay but the encore one is going to be the easiest to get hold of out side of ebay.
