One of the smoke stacks on a MISB one of these I bought is squint in the box.
My question is:
Is the stack supposed to be permanently physically connected to the small hole on the arm, above the main stack connector or does it just sit in there to stop it moving?

I'm sure its just a hole to line up the stack properly.

Do the Prime/Convoy re-issues have this too? All my Primes and my CS Magnus are still MISB, so I can't check them. I have a loose US G1 Magnus, which has the holes, but doesn't have a bump on the smoke stacks. I thought it might be a case of the reissue stacks being remolded so that they stay straight. I just wasn't sure if it was just a bump and therefore my reissue is OK or the stacks were attached into the small hole with a peg, which may have broken somehow. Anyway it seems every things cool, apart from the smokestack being a little crooked. Thanks Phill.

My TF Collection Prime had a smokestack that had come off in the box which I ended up gluing it back on.
