As far as shine I want it to look like a real car that's painted grey and dark grey If you want a realistic looking paint job then you need a shiny finish The visor shouldnt be too hard...i will probably make it out of a cd case painted with clear red...or maybe some stryene depending on how well the cd case idea turns out.

If Sonny's Bumblebee custom is anything to go by, then shiny shouldn't be an issue... How long do you think this will take you Son?

Well i am currently swamped with other commissions, but since this is a small project i can work on this in between the larger ones. It might take me a week or two i guess. Im going away (hopefully) over easter weekend for 4 days though so i wont be doing any work over the holiday. (hopefully going to dorset for a big gathering with some online friends as long as it doesn't snow) And yeah i pride myself on getting the shiniest finish possible. All cars are shiny by default so a robot that turns into a car should be shiny too...that is where (imo) other customizers always go wrong because they give their toy's alt mode dull, matte paint jobs which look awful to me so i always try my best to get a shiny finish unless requested not to do so. (sometimes a custom matte black paint job can look good on certain cars. Ive seen people paint cars with the same stuff they use on blackboards, you could literally get some chalk and write on the car!)
