I find it interesting that they were allowed to photograph and film it, though it is cool to see what was shown off. A different video from the BotCon display too

Toys look better than I expected but they're still way too 'kiddy' looking for my tastes. The G1 painted Movie Voyager Prime in that gallery looked kinda cool. Again better than I thought a G1 repaint would look given the transformation. Is the red repaint of Bumblebee, Cliffjumper?

I really like this. As i've said before I am looking fgorward to it and those toy designs and animation does nothing but continue to get me psyched up.

Really looking forward to this cartoon now, and that hasn't happened in a long time.

Oh my god that's brilliant! A remake of G1! I've harped on abou that for years! The original theme tune redone! GRIMLOCK! w00t! Edit: Having just looked at the toy pics, I can confirm that this is the line that is draging me back to Tf collecting. I'm buying those babies.

Ugh, I only just watched the video. Great... tons of stuff I hated about the AEC stuff, magnified by a billion by being godawful 'american anime' like Teen Titans and a ton of other crap shows. I despise that animation style massively. Crap version of the theme tune too.
Well there ya go. The movie stuff is what drew me back into TF where I could be guaranteed the 'real' looking stuff I been wanting since G1, with no stupid flashy backgrounds and crap (which this show did plenty even just in the trailer), and this show will do it's best to kick me right back out. Felt things were finally getting somewhere...
Why can't we have an animated show that has a more grittier feel to it?

I'm undecided really after looking at the pictures. Some of the figures look excellent (Grimlock, Starscream and Soundwave) whereas some look rubbish (Bumblebee, Lugnutz and Bulkhead). I really think I will need to see the figures myself before I make my mind up.
I too prefer the movie style figures being realistic and think this could be seen as a step backwards only time will tell if it works.
I think personally Hasbro is trying to appeal to everyone with their three new lines...Allspark for those that like the movie, Universe aka Classics 2.0 for the collectors and Animated for the kids. With some cross appeal across the lines.

With some cross appeal across the lines. Allspark Power is just a sub-line of the movie line. It'll be done by the time the cartoon rolls out. There will only be 2 lines next year.

I'm a bit behind. What's allspark exactly?
And Classics 2.0?
