Since acquiring my deluxe bumblebee in new york on monday, I have transformed him to robot mode precisely once, and cannot get him back into car mode - the hood perpetually points down and does not lock into place. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

It's the old beat-up one, from wave 1. I was lucky as it is to find wave 1, would've been a miracle if I'd been able to get the concept camaro version from wave 3 or whatever it will be.

I think I know what you mean, its the automorph function that gets stuck.. I only had a play with one once a long time ago now, but I cant remember sorry, if I get my hands on another one I shall def get back to you ..

I got the same offer. I told them I bought my Bumblebee at BotCon, and they told me to send it back to them for replacement.
Mine has a malformed gear in the right foot which affects the auto-transformation bit there.
