Ok worth every penny I thought. I don't normally (nor can usually) buy expensive TFs but I am really happy with this one. Took me a while after seeing the first glimpses of the movie design to get used to it but I've some to love the look and I'm glad to have this toy of it which I personally think is superbly designed. I also got 20th Anniversary Prime with it and in many ways I do prefer the movie figure. 20th is obviously the more well known iconic rendition and it's great..robot mode anyways. Truck mode I'm not as keen on but maybe it's just the truck form itself is very dated and it still always just looks like what it is.. primes torso contained within the red front, and his blue legs dragging behind him. Still nice and all but a lil too familiar if that makes sense. Movie Prime just seems far more complex, and my friend tried transforming him without instructions and didn't get anywhere but after a couple of goes it all just seems to come together and make sense. So yeah love both my new Prime figures, and the movie one is a definite progression of design and engineering. I'd like to see what TF toys are like in the next 20 years too Seems odd that movie prime has hands just like 20th MP prime too whereas other movie figs have alien hands.

Anyways I had a question. Are movie leader Primes mistransformed in the packaging. The feet I mean. I had a lot of trouble standing him up when I got him in packaging. Thought I managed it but he fell off the desk and I caught him just before he hit ground. When transforming him into truck mode when I got to the feet it seemed some of it was already done. Just bit concerned if that happened to me then maybe it could happen to someone else and they not catch it and bang they've broken a £40 toy.

By the way... 20th Prime sure feels weighty and solid in truck mode... nice chunk of metal clubby death. If durin night I've managed to actually drift off an awake to find someones broke into my place again, I think I'll reach for 20th Prime (who'd hopefully be in truck form) and protect myself with it

I agree. Very nice toy. Best one I've bought in ages.

And yes, the feet are not transformed in the packaging. Speaking of packaging - took me longer to get him out the box that to transform him!

Hehe, took me only a couple minutes to get him out of packaging. After spending half hour removing 20th Prime (who had a loooot of ties) I thought screw this, popped to the hardware store and got me some cheap wire cutters. Movie Prime doesn't have quite as many ties as 20th but still they really are annoying when you just wanna get the figure out of the box and have a play with it.

I got the feet sorted now. Was a bit confusing when getting him out the box first and I was worried he had a major design flaw and was unable to stand up easily. Luckily the properly transformed feet provide much needed support.

He's also probably the most complex TF that I actually really enjoy transforming from truck to robot and back again over and over. Even the fiddly business of the panels on front of the truck. I like the electronic automorphing for the head too. Somewhat satisfying leaving that til last when changing to robot and the rest of the body is done and all thats left is pressing the lil button thing and having the lights come on and the head appear with the sounds and his eyes glowing all alive.

One thing though. Stupid CE sticker on one of his battery compartments. I tried taking it off but it left crappy sticker residue stuff on it. Ya know of a good way to get that off? Tried scrubbing it with a slightly damp cloth but to no avail.

What's wrong with his feet?

As I didn't notice anything I'm beginning to worry that I've not got them done right.

When in his box they were mostly like they are in truck form, all folded up, presumably for space reasons in the packaging? Maybe yours wasn't like that.
