Hey guys, One of my marketing managers at Hasbro has launched a brand new Transformers merchandise site with a collection of all the transformers products available and they want your feedback! www.digitalstores.co.uk/transformers/home.jspWhat you would like to see on the site? is it too young / too old? Comments on the design, product on the site, where would you it to be? Is this a good idea. What would you like to see? What are you looking for in this site? Its only been up a few weeks – but we want to accommodate everyone around the world to see all the products. It was done very quickly and we'd like to know what you all think. Please let us know your comments and Ill report back to improve the site!

It needs the toys rather than just the licensed merchandise, and of the licensed products it could do with having more. Or is the idea that the Hasbro Toy Store will sell the figures and that Hasbor will be using www.digitalstores.co.uk as their merchandise site. The descriptions need to be expanded on many of the products as its not very helpful as is, especially on items such as the DVD. The order pages should have a quantity box so you can add multiple quantities at once. The update button in the shopping basket area is fugly and the text hard to read. The Add To Basket, though big so it does stand out, just seems out of place when compared to the small general text. The Cartoon Network version (by the same company) looks a little better, though that could be as its more in keeping with their sites, has the action figures and looks a little neater in terms of buttons for adding to basket www.digitalstores.co.uk/cartoonnetwork/home.jsp The HTML itself is messy, combining CSS with inline styles, tables and divs. The page is not xHTML compliant either which may cause a problem with some browser. Yes I know that ours isn't any more, but its a little harder when you deal with user submissions to ensure that those are xhtml compliant, though I will be cleaning up the site again as v7 was 90% xHTML compliant on all 55,000 pages There's a distinct lack of SEO as well which won't help when it has to compete against affiliate based sites and I know that there are several in the line from major blackhats affiliates

Ditto. A Hasbro transformers online shop that doesn't sell Transformers? That's nearly as bad an idea as having transformers that don't transform................Oh, wait a minute. They have already done that as well ;D Action Masters: What a waste of plastic they were What about selling some exclusive figures/imports that normally wouldn't be available? One other thing, do you know if we are gonna get Masterpiece Megatron/Starscream or the Megatron encore released over here?
