Heh, yeah I suppose it does look a bit camp. The 2nd pose more than makes up for it though right?

here be my latest two additions. Jetfire in full battle mode with helmet, and Mirage feeling a bit... underpowered...

Probably because of Jetfires' helmet, Jetfire's actual head isn't all that big either.

Also he is just a deluxe and Jetfire's a voyager.

Hmm, I think I did Mirage an injustice posing him next to Jetfire, cos yeah Jets is a big bulky Voyager. I want Hasbro to do another Decepticon Voyager to fight Jetfire. Not sure who though. Did G1 Jetfire even have a Decepticon equivalent?

Shockwave would be nice, but I think Megs has done the spacey gun thing here.

The Classics are indeed Classic figures. Hope that the line is continued after the Movie. Although we've got Heroes coming out next I'd like to see them continue Classics and Alternators as sublines.

Anyway I decided to take a couple of pics of my classics, as I've not updated my display pics since last July.

Skyfall and Landquake are there because that shelf is dedicated to the characters that appear in the Collectors Club Comic;

Bumblebee is a good figure. Cliffjumper although the same figure has some sloppy paint apps. Hasbro are supposedly addressing it though, so the next batch may be better. My Cliffjumper has some paint blotches, and its pretty roughly done atsome points.

Cool, thanks. I was going to get bumblebee first anyway, then cliffjumper, so i'll hold out a little for the latter figure, just in case.

Added Grimlock and a custom Goldbug. Superlink Sprung is there being 'Classics Springer' least until Hasbro decide to make some more.



Now I know the larger gun this Goldbug came with is Pretender Bumblebee's gun. I dunno what the smaller squarer one is from though.

Dunno if anyone's noticed this before... but it's weird how Classics 'Hot Rod' has a grim look on his face and Titaniums Rodimus Prime has a fairly content look. Would have thought it would be the other way round in terms of his personality in either incarnation.


Gonna do this one again at some point and replace Astrotrain with Skywarp and also replace the seeker's oversized standard nullray gun things with some smaller specially made ones I'm ordering which means they'll be able to pose better in action scenes too. I really like Starscreams pose here and would look way cooler once he has regular sized nullray guns on his arms like he should.


Again I just love this figure, and I disagree with those who say you can't move his arms (as supposedly the top parts hit the roof canopy on his back) as you can see there I got his right arm moving just fine.


Can't wait to add Cliffjumper. I'm gonna get another Bumblebee too as I noticed mine actually has the white stripes painted wrong (notice it in the pics higher up in this thread in car form too). I'll then use my current Bumblebee as repaint practice, maybe do an eeeeevil one or do him up with a firey Hot Rod look... Bumblerod
