Important advice for Deluxe Lockdown

Just thought I'd pass this on, as I'd heard about it and saw it happening to someone first-hand today.

Pretty relevant as Animated toys are popping up in TRU's everywhere.

When transforming Lockdown and you go to swing his hands out, you'll notice a small grey tab on the back of them. Once this tab stops you from pushing his hand any more, don't force it or the wrist will snap.

Hasbro know about the problem, and have said they may fix it for the redeco figure.

If you're confident with a craft knife though, you can fix it yorself by shaving a bit off the tab.

Yay Epicheroes, where I bought my Lockdown from, have agreed to replace him. He's winging his way back now.....now I won't make the same with my next one I promise!

I opened my Lockdown on sunday night and was really embarassed that at 33 I could break a Transformer..... now I see Im not the only one!

Still can't believe I broke his wrist though :-(

My one was broken when I opened the pack. A soon as I removed the bubble something fell out. After searching frantically on the floor I eventually found a small piece of plastic. It was during Transformation that the rest of the hand fell out.
I didn't buy a relacement at BotCon as I had got him for retail price, and in the sales room they were wanting $30 for him.

I put this thread up as I saw someone opening a Lockdown and they snapped the wrist after about 30 seconds.

What really annoyed me was that I was aware of that problem, and the guy who broke his had grabbed the last one off the peg.
