I've got astigmatism in my right eye, which is making my sight blurry in the right eye, left eye is fine ( I could read the entire board for the first time in my life). The right eye was blurry on line 2, but they have said there is nothing they can go, lenses make no difference.
My vision has been bad the last two weeks, it hurts at the moment, but I think it is bought on my the light and different monitor sizes at work.
I'm trying to keep the eye closed, use drops and stay off the PC as much as I can ... which isn't much. Scanning magazines instead of using the pc, so it's only occasional useage out of work.

Sounds very frustrating man. I had eye strain a year or so back but have been lucky otherwise in getting away with almost perfect vision so I guess I cant really understand how bad it must be for you.
Hope it improves for you

I so feel for you. Did you try hard contacts if the toric didn't work? They are mega-uncomfy at first but you get used to the grit.
Hope a good eye resting improves things.

All you can do is stay off the computers as much as possible and get plenty of sleep so you don't strain the good eye overcompensating. I know the pain of not being able to do what you want when you get home from work because your eyes can't take it, I still have some days where I overdo it and it usually takes me until the weekend to rest my eyes properly (whenever I'm not on the 360 for more than 2 days that's the reason). Your condition sounds worse than my accursed blocked tear ducts though so I hope you don't actually read this thread - if you are you better be recovered otherwise get outta here bug

Yeah Moonbug had lazer surgery several years ago, but they think the astigmatism came back during the healing process.
