I think trust is a very important attribute. I trust information I get from this site with regards to news/sightings etc. Whenever I post news/info I try to make sure I have all the info I need at hand & that it can be checked easily by other people. I am more then disappointed to read about the 'news' of MPs appearing in a main line Department store. I took the news at it's word & if I hadn't have checked this forum before I walked out of work I would have gone out of my way to check my local John Lewis store for signs of Masterpiece Skywarp. I know at least one person who has already made the trip. We trust & I think that trust is important & not to brought into question. It's odd that via an MSN chat to another member it came up how odd it wsa to see a gun availalbe on the highstreet & how the cost wasn't known. Disappointed.

Just to set the record straight......
'It's odd that via an MSN chat to another member it came up how odd it wsa to see a gun availalbe on the highstreet & how the cost wasn't known.'
The actual message to another member sent wasnt via MSN and actually stated it was a joke - additionally I didnt even refer to the cost being not known - please dont push the boat how here, again this was a misjudged joke.

I am glad that John Lewis was on my rounds today anyway. If I had gone out of my way to visit I might have been pretty angry, moreso if I wasn;t fortunate enough to already own both MP in question and had my hopes raised.
Credit to you for owning up deathshead. At least you are man enough of character to admit when you're wrong and apologise. Doesn't make what you did right, but we can only move forwards.

Sorry, there is a misunderstanding with regards to my MSN statement. I wasn't referring to anyone else's conversations. I was referring to my conversation I had with another forum member via MSN about the 'news' article were we discussed the topics mentioned. I commented that once it gets out that a gun is available on the high-street Joe public is bound to complain. Which is what made me question this in the first place. *Edit - I so think the article should be removed from the main Transformertoys.co.uk front page.

I should have checked more before posting it as news, I just got caught up in the possibility that they may have actually been out as grey imports have made they way over before. I never use to be that trusting, which show's how I've changed as a person over the last 7 years. I've removed the story now.

I was that member We did think it was very odd that Megatron would be available here. Hob went up to JL, and we spoke on the phone while he was there. We pretty much thought it was a wind up.
