Hey all. After playing ..... I mean looking at Animted Prowl figure. Has there been any other Toy from any TF line with a strange weapon? I still can't see the reasoning why he has a limp (as in you can't stand it up) traffic light nunchuck.
That and I am wondering if its been explained what the gimmick of Animated Star Scream's arms do (the bits that pop out when you slide the launchers forward).

Most BW toys have weird weapons like Cheetor's guts gun.

True. Big Convoy's mamoth trunk gun was weird. But I guesswith the BW weapons they have been incorperated in the design, where as Prowl's overall design the traffic light was just thrown in as to say erm couldn't think of anything here you go. lol I bet its something like a miscom within the company and someone didn't know that Prowl had hidden ninja stars attached to him and figured they would put in a ninja themed weapon in. Does anyone read the comics (are they out yet)? Could be its just a comic inspired weapon that didnt make it to the series. lol the more I go on about this its turning out to belong to the animated sub cat.

I believe it was a concept weapon that hasn't featured very heavily anywhere yet. It's supposed to be a whip of sorts that attaches to things and he swings them at enemies, in this case a traffic light.

animated soundwaves guitar fits the bill for strange methinks, even though not tecnically a weapon.

lol I liked Actionmasters. They were no different to the PVC figures or those movie figures who dont transform. A bunch of stylized robot modes without kibble or blockyness and decent articulation (for the time) and all a similar size.
Those ripcord helicopter things from Gen2 were sort of weird in my opinion. Never had any but it looked like a fairly destructive gimmick. I could totally see many things getting knocked over by those. Sort of like the Watergun guys who needed it too be freakin boiling for the colour changing too work... or at least the two I had needed really hot water. What were they suposed too do in combat anyway? stain the guys paint?
