I was just looking for Transformers Figures to blow money I haven't got on and I found Transformers Universe Wave 1 are listed as in stock!

I ordered mine and they have now been dispatched! Blimey well done Hasbro!

Yea, but for the new Deluxe Price Point of £12.99. I wonder if they'll reprice Animated while its on the shelves, or wait until there's a Sub-Brand to it?

I think we might end up with 2 price points for deluxes for the time being. £12.99 for Universe Deluxe and £9.99 for animated. The animated activators coming out at only £4.99 was a bit of a suprise since they are effectively scout size which used to be £6.99.

Well its another excuse for US firms to make money off of the exchange rate. It makes over 100% on UK sales compared to US. Any wonder why we are seeing new lines of TF's almost straight after them!

The thing for me is I can get someone in the States to get them for me, or even order them online and get them sent there. I had a look and I can get the 3 Wave 1 deluxes and Voyager Grimlock for arounf £30. I'll just have to wait till later in the year to actually get them I'm torn at the moment but unless they are on sale I think I'd rather wait.

Well I've got these sitting in my pile of loot at BBTS for £1.50 less than that including the shipping. If I find them cheaper before I decide to get them shipped, I'll pick them up over here. Otherwise I might as well save myself a fiver.

Ours are waiting to ship from HTS, decided to get them from there since Hasbro UK are genuinely caring about Transformers at the moment and the current licensing manager has been working away. Hasbro UK are aiming at two markets though now, Boys 6-12 and Collectors and Transformers did have the 10th highest advertising spend in April 2008 of any brand that Hasbro spent money on within the UK. The spend was spread across a mix of satellite and terrestrial TV advertising.

They are back showing as instock and the old links have moved. £12.99 each + £4.99 P&P is a tad steep for these. I guess stores will get them soon enough, heck even TRU may get them in time for the 3 for 2.

On a price front, there was an 8% increase forcast for the 2nd half of the year back in March. You can find my report on it on the 10th March

Ditto. My friend uses them as payment for commissions though, so basically i get them for free, just gotta paint a few things in return which is fine by me as i love customizing TF's.

I'll still end up buying a couple when they eventually hit the store shelves over here though.
