I'll be happy when they do it. I've been wanting a Sky Lynx since I was a kid.

Sky Lynx wasn't released originally in Japan, so its esentially an established but new G1 character/toy for them.

I am stoked about this. I am finally trying to cut back on my TF purchases but this is definitely going to be one I get! Sky Lynx was one of my favourite characters from the UK G1 comics.

I have one which is in really good condition, but I'll still be getting this. It's a great TF, when it walks it looks fantastic.
Hope they have the Omega Supreme mold too.

Someone on youtube had a race between the three walkers trypticon won by miles, and omega supreme looked like he wasent moving hahah...
I think that skylynx was from another japanese line like shockwave and a few others which is why it hasent been reissued before, and they were available in japan just not as transformers sky lynx.......
looks cool though

I've seen that video. Instead of making him walk they should have made him roll.

Unlike Shockwave who was released in Japan as Laserwave and had a release outside of transformers as Astro Magnum and Shackwave, I don't think Sky lynx was ever released in any line outside of Transformers.

Far as I can remember, SkyLynx was a mould made by Toybox (also responsible for Mechbot-1, later to become Omega Supreme), but it was never released by them as they went bust and/or got bought out. In any case, Hasbro aquired the moulds and thus the yanks got him. Phil is correct in that he wasn't released in Japan.
Was he released in the UK/Europe?

I thought he was one of the (many) TFs not released here, but he crops up on ebay fairly regularly...

Sky Lynx never had a mainstream release in the UK.
However over the years I had heard some people claiming to have found him at Jolly Giant and Toymasters.
