I appreciate many of you are already RPG versed but for those who dont know as well as a refresher for those who do here are some rough guides, i dont want to sound as though im preaching, im just trying to knock problems on the head before they even start so bear with me.
REMEMBER thse are a basic guide line not exact blow by blow rules, you are expected to use common sense (god help us) when playing for yours and everyone elses enjoyment. So please do not take liberties and be a smart ass:
1. Have fun! First and foremost! Remember we're all here for a good time, there is enough stress and misery in day to day life so lets have a bit of escapism.
2. The GMs (GameMaster) ruling is final. They can tell you Cybertron is pink if they want and you have to take it as green (if that makes any sense lol). Please dont spoil an RPG by arguing over whether you could have done something the GM has not let you do.
3. If you are running an RPG please start all new threads with the title of that RPG to distinguish it from other ones currently running.
4. If you want to GM an RPG please make sure you have the commitment to do it. There is nothing more upsetting to posters to get involve in an RPG only to have the GM becoem irregular. I appreciate normal life has its complications, so if this arises please ask someone else to temporarily take the RPG over for you.
5. This also appiles to players, dont participate in an RPG if you cannoit commit to at least one post a week, preferably two. It slows the game down and gets everyone antsy and bored.
6. Any characters created here are the property of that board member. if when running an rpg, referencing in a tech spec or whatever to a character you MUST have permission from that board member to use them. Failure to do this will result in exclusion from rpg events.
