Hey
Does anyone have both Lioconvoy and the original Big Convoy? I ask because I finally got Big Convoy, well one of those Korean knock-offs. I always expected him to be huge, but it turns out he's smaller than Lioconvoy!!
Is this true of the original, or is the knock off just made smaller?

First off, the Korean one isn't knock-off, it's licensed from Takara.
And Big Convoy is indeed smaller than LioConvoy. LioConvoy is quite tall and gangly but Big Convoy is squat and powerful.

I have the FLash version of Leo Convoy and both Takara and Korean Big Convoy. With regards to it's legitimacy(I think that's the word) Both are original, same mold, same colouration and the same all around. And like Dive said, Sonokong(Korean manufacturer or distributer) is just Takara's counterpart in Korea. so whichever one you have .. Big Convoy is brilliant, one of the best TF out there me thinks ;D

First off, the Korean one isn't knock-off, it's licensed from Takara. Thank god you said that, I orderd Big Convoy from the same seller as Peagreenbot yesterday. I've always liked the look of BC, the Universe recolour doesn't look all that good to me so I finally decided to go for him in the original colours. Hey I ask because I finally got Big Convoy I noticed your feedback for the seller when I bought one. How long did it take to arrive? |

Thanks for answering my questions! I always just assumed that the Korean version wasn't licensed - and he's still great, despite being ickle! I've got him posed with the big cannon - a very cool gun!!
My Big Convoy only took around seven or eight days to reach me, and was well packaged, so you should be alright with your purchase! Enjoy him!! I too didn't like the UNiverse repaint and desired the original colours - I've been hankering after this 'bot for ages!
