Got this from my Dad after he came back from holiday, he said it was the only TF like toy he could find and was the only one of the shelf.
Needless to say I totally marked outwhen he gave it to me and I saw it wasnt a crazy bird-bot style pound shop KO but one of my fave BW characters KnockedOff all the way to hell!
As you can see the card is a complete BM rip off from the front with Primal and Cheetor popping up (Cheetor in some dodgy art).
Also you cant make out very well but QS comes packaged with a little clear plastic terrodactyl (spelling?) man for want of a better description. Damn just realised I flipped the image the wrong way - DOH!
The back has an image from the BW cartoon showing TM1 Cheetor, TM1 Primal, Silverbolt, TM1 Rattrap and Rhinox. Nothing of interest really...
KO Quickstrike in robot mode next to his official counterpart. Obviously the size difference is there but there are a few colour differences in the transparent plastic and such.
Now next to Mega sized Tm1 Megatron. I did think QS was more Deluxe sized at first but after comparing him he does border on Mega, dwarfing a few of the more small Deluxes. For the sake of argument im going to call him Mega in terms of scale as he's closer to that IMO.
Finally next to the official QS in beast mode. Again few differences. The main one is that they have replaced the semi-squishy Cobra neck that squirts water with solid plastic. This is screwed on as well.
Only other problem was that the tail struggles to stand on it's own in this mode. When the segments are turne don each other (like the robot mode pic) it stands easily but when they all face the same direction it over balances and falls downwards.
The plastic is surprisingly good, not official hasbro style quality obviously but by KO standards it is damned impressive.
Overall this is quite possibly my favourite KO of all time and on the KO scale (i just invented) I am going to give it a 9/10 only losing 1 for the lack of water squirting and the slightly falling tail.
It'd take a lot to score higher than this bad boy!
Maybe a basic sized Rampage...
