These arrived today. Unbelievably huge backing card as you can see with the size comparison to BT Ravage.
It features G1 Seacon box art and toy pics as well as ubiquitous G1 art from the time (landmine & submaruader). Also it says the toy is called Deepsea Soldier, the writing in a variation of the Power Rangers logo.
Colours and quality of plastic are questionable but that's what you expect with KOs. Good thing is it makes Universe Piranacons/Piranaking look awesome.
The Piranacon head is remolded, the face plate being smoothed out and a set of lips sculpted on. Sadly they chose to paint these in such a contracting colour it can only make him look like he's in drag. SNaptrap has clip on shin guards that make his legs seem bulkier. Snaptrap does seem to have been blown up slightly larger than his comrades, making him very short limbed looking.
Also (not attached in combined mode but visible on the card) is the xtra gold chest piece. This is actually pretty nice but attaches very flimsily so I left it off.
The toys all have a KO looking Autobot badge, in my kind making them the Autobot's answer to ther Seacons.
Big draw back is no oversized feet., They do supply you with two dinos with pegs on their backs. In the pictures on the card he stand son these dinos as feet. Weird.
They look like Dinoriders style toys abnd are the right scale for it. But I dont think they are from that line (might be wrong).
Below is a Tentakil comparison shot with all 4 toys I own. Shows the size off nicely.
Not for everyone but for me an ace addition to my Seacons, my second fave TF's after Ock.
