You know Rev, that name never really caught on.... Pigskin now there's a name.
Do you guys remember the movie the Golden Child with Eddie Murphy..some of the movie takes place in Tibet...(Nepal)
Brad Pitt did 7 Years there
And Sonny check this out
According to the British, their intention was to disarm Tibetan soldiers who were being surrounded. The slaughter was triggered by the Tibetans who fired the first shot. But the accounts of those who pulled the triggers make it clear that the British had the intention of killing as many as possible. “From three sides at once a withering volley of magazine fire crashed into the crowded mass of Tibetans,” wrote Perceval Landon. “Under the appalling punishment of lead, they [the Tibetans] staggered, failed and ran…Men dropped at every yard.”
The British soldiers mowed down the Tibetans with machine guns as they fled. “I got so sick of the slaughter that I ceased fire, though the general’s order was to make as big a bag as possible,” wrote Lieutenant Arthur Hadow, commander of the Maxim guns detachment. “I hope I shall never again have to shoot down men walking away

So what are the American protesters on the Golden Gate bridge fighting for then? San Fransisco by no means of the imagination should be correlated to Americans..San Fransisco is the most liberal place in the world next to France...I'm thinking of re-naming it San't France-sisco No one really cares about the Olympics in the US we're too busy following Britney Spears and Bradd Pitt to care..plus we have Baseball, basketball and Football to keep us occupied. So being liberal and open minded is a bad thing? And DS, please quit with the "sonny-jim" talk, i find being refereed to in that way as very condescending so please dont do it again. I know you couldnt have possibly known that when you said it but know you now for future referance.

so sonny what your saying is we should pull out of iraq and send our boys and gals to die in tibet? or china maybe?
what then happens to the iraqi ppl who also deserve to have there human rights defended? and will that make our own country safer?
and if you think iraq was nice and tranquel before the forces went in... well. i belive it was aiding ppls human right to LIVE in that country. and dont give me the oil story. whats happening in tibet is wrong i agree totally. but putting another fighting force in there is madness.

What would you prefer? Have them fight for a good cause, or die for nothing like in Iraq? What happens you ask? The country regains its independence and re-builds itself, unlike now thanks to American forces they haven't been allowed to defend their own country or make their own decisions, thus the country remains in ruins due to foreign military occupation, and incompetence. Im sure the whole country would do better without military forces going around making Iraqi children chant "i love pork" in the streets, or marines throwing animals off of cliffs, or offering children water out of the back of their Humvee and then driving away and making the kids run for miles for the water, oh and im sure throwing grenades at random civilians would also be a bonus if they finally pulled out. But no, theres still oil to be had so they will stay put, because thats the "greater good" or as you seem to think "human rights". Dont kid yourself, that war was never about human rights, it was about Bush and Oil, period. The fact that anybody here thinks otherwise about the Iraq war is truly laughable.

so iraqis have no human rights now? but tibetians do. and dont blame the yanks alone for iraq, blair went in too.
hell , if we had let maggie thatcher finish it years ago it would not be as bad as is now.
but hey , lets pull the troops out. dont blame them when a 747 lands in your yard though. i really see what you are saying sonny, but every country deserves protection from evil.

and hell if we don't free up the oil they won't be able to burn it in china to make toys
so yeah lets pull out of iraq and get china to put trade embargoes on us after we upset them
That'll help me save some money at least
