Using 220mm as a guide against my MP Convoy, this is what I got. The original photo and the coloured Starscream pics weren't mine, this is just a quick mock-up. According to that TFormers info, he's about £49. I can live with that.

the takara release will have die-cast parts so dont expect one for £49 after shipping..... these WILL be heavy as I have already had my supplier confirm price but not shipping due to unknown weight

New picture. www.actoys.net/bbs/read.php?tid=118700The paint job is terrible IMO, I can't understand why they've made it look so unlike Starscream. Takaratomy are making some of the worst decisions I've ever seen them make. Kiss Convoy + No Die cast = Pass MP-03 Starscream + Not Starscream Colours = Pass MP-01 with Trailer + No Roller = Pass Looks like in September I'll be saving some money.

Just recieved my MP-03. Absolutely amazing peice but I've got a problem. Its missing the finger tip part on the lower left hand section. ARGH!!! I'm making contact with the ebay seller (LCM house) but I was wondering if anyone knows of a direct e-mail address to Takara who can deal with getting a spare part to me.

Right chums, using my bros photobucket account: ....see my problem! Have to say the colours look better when you see the toy in front of you compared to a photo. Whats annoying is that the anime colours are prominent on the instruction manual MP-03! MP-03 was only a last minute thing for me as I cancelled a previous pre-order, then got a new job and got a cheap offer from LCM house. Sarfraz

I think it should have been more like 25cm tall instead of 22cm,
I could live with the size because that would be much harder for TT to change, but not the colours.
Once TT see sense and release it with a better (more toon accurate) paint job I will probably buy it.
It's a shame so many people accepted these lame colours. Poor sales on this might have pushed them to release a toon accurate one much quicker.

Whereas, the G1 colours would put me off. As much as i've liked accurate cars in ALt/Bianltech, as a fighter jet buff, that's what i want to see & this is the best chance of seeing it. But you can bet your bottom dollar that there's going to be 2 repaints; Thundercracker or Skywarp & then an 'Anime' version of 'Scream.

Got mine today and I can't believe how completely disapointed I am with it. In fact I got it out transformed it once and then put it back in the box.
I didn't think I was going to have a problem with the colour, but seeing it up close it's just too dark. Worst of all though I was expecting a figure with die cast metal parts for the amount I paid, but instead it's completely plastic.
I'm really disapointed.
Thankfully my classics arried today and for only £10 more I've got 6 cracking figures - including a great Starscream!
